Valuations and Links

In response to an increasing number of requests we are pleased to introduce a new service commencing in January 2017.

'The provision of written valuations on swords for Insurance purposes'

Many Insurance Companies are now seeking professional valuations for Antique items, and with the increasing value of Antique Swords we are seeing a steady rise in requests for this service.

Due to the need to personally inspect swords for valuation purposes, and to keep costs at a reasonable level we are introducing a number of simple criteria:

1. The minimum number of swords for valuation purposes is 5

2. This service will only be available within a 40 Mile radius of York (UK)

3.The cost will be £25 per sword up to a maximum of 10. Larger collections by prior agreement.

4. Valuations will normally take place at the owners home or elsewhere by prior agreement.

Valuations will comprise a detailed description of the sword (see our normal commercial descriptions for an example) and where requested photographs.
